We had tickets for Red Sox-Cubs at Fenway, games on Saturday and Sunday. Last series of the season. But a Nor’easter came through over the weekend.
They moved the Sunday game to a double header on Friday. They moved the Saturday game to Sunday with a 3:05 p.m. start at TROPICANA FIELD IN ST. PETE, FLORIDA. Luckily the tickets were free because we subscribed to NESN+, so we didn’t lose that. Both teams are in the playoffs, so it was a throwaway game.
So, we trekked to our Air BNB outside of Boston anyway. Winds and rain were almost unbearable. Scored the game from our AirBNB watching the game with Annie on NESN.
